Convective SIGMET

A SIGMET issued for thunderstorm-related hazards, including severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, heavy precipitation, hail, and strong winds. Convective SIGMETs are reviewed during preflight hazard checks because they identify areas where VFR and IFR flight may be unsafe.
